Created by artist Betsy Teutsch, this tambourine is both a beautiful piece of art and a functional high quality, professional Remo percussion instrument. Hang it directly on the wall -- it's already framed! Just take it down to celebrate at you simchas, Rosh Hodesh gatherings, baby namings, b'not mitzvah, or any special occasions when echoes of our biblical mothers would be welcome.
For each tambourine sold, Teutsch contributes to the American Jewish World Service Women’s Empowerment Fund (AJWS.org). This supports microlending to Third World women, enabling them to expand their businesses. Their increased income generation helps them to better feed and educate their children, creating a toehold on the ladder out of poverty.
