Like "work party" and "healthy tan," the term "klezmer Christmas carols" seems like a mismatched punch line. But it would be a mistake to dismiss this creative and melodic mix. This CD of yuletide classics performed in the musical style of Eastern European Jewish shtet'ls has secured it's place, among Jewish, Christian and interfaith couples. Let's hope that this music will soon be holiday elevator music!
