It's a Miracle! Eight nights of candles burning instead of one, that's miraculous. We've channeled the light into our new Hanukkah Miracle basket and have chosen ingredients that are both delicious to eat and in the Hanukkah tradition. The potato pancake (latke) mix is included not only because latkes are one of Hanukkah's biggest traditions but also to encourage some (very simple) cooking, that even my college attending son could do in his fraternity house! Basket includes:
-1 full-size challah
-Koppers Chocolate Lentils- dark chocolate covered in a candy shell
-2 bags of Food Should Tast Good Multigrain Tortilla Chips
-Latke mix that will make 18-24 latkes (just add 2 egg, water and fry in vegetable or canola oil)
-2 tubes of Apple Sauce
-Ari, our Hanukkah bear
-Latke potholder, perfect for handling the hot pan!
Assembled in a willow basket, wrapped in cello wrap and multi-colored raffia.
NOTES:
-Every item certified kosher by a leading kosher certifier such as OU, OK, Star K and KofK. Each item is clearly marked with certification.
-From time to time we may need to make substitutions for out-of-stock items. We will always do our best to substitute with item(s) that meet the spirit of the gift and of equal or greater value.
