One of my favorite Jewish holiday cookbooks! In addition to recipes, the author provides interesting and helpful information about each holiday including customs, food traditions and holiday significance. Recipes are included for every major Jewish holiday; Rosh Hashana, Yom Kippur, Sukkot, Chanukah, Purim, Passover and Shavuot. The recipes are easy to follow and use ingredients that are already in your bakers rack or easily found in the grocery store. I have made several of them and have been thrilled with the outcome every time. This book is a perfect choice for both the experienced Jewish baker and the novice (new to baking and/or new to being Jewish).
